This Month's Family Hike was full of surprises. We started off the hike in a new location and took a new trail. When we were taking our first group photo a biker hit a bump and dropped his water bottle which poured out before he could grab it. Oliver stepped in mud which sucked his shoe off. We had to wash it in the water so he ventured around without his right shoe on for a while. Gideon spotted a snake, was so excited, and shouted "a snake" about 14 times. Lots of huge leaves and many other treasures were found.

I value family and know first hand how fast time moves by. I have many kids that have grown up in the blink of my eyes. I work with families who struggle with time flying by so fast. I support them by freezing time with my camera to document activities or traditions to fill their storybook so they can cherish and share it.
